FLS-230A Visual Fault Locator

The FLS-230A Visual Fault Locator helps you visually pinpoint the location of breaks, faulty splices or connectors within CO splice trays and patch panels.

The bright red glow of the FLS-230A indicates where attenuation is reducing your system's performance. Its highly visible laser signal warns you in the event of abnormal losses.

FLS-240 Pocket Pal Visual Fault Locator

The FLS-240 Pocket Pal Visual Fault Locator is a straightforward solution for identifying breaks, bends, faulty connectors or splices, as well as other causes of signal loss.

It can detect faults over distances of up to 5 km. The FLS-240 visually locates faults by creating a bright red glow at the exact location of the fault on singlemode or multimode fibers.

FTB-PSB Pulse Suppressor Box

Available as a module for the FTB-400 Universal Test System or as a stand-alone unit, the Pulse Suppressor Box combines with EXFO OTDR equipment to enable loss measurements on the first and last connections of a fiber under test.

Typically, these connections are impossible to characterize due to OTDR dead zones. Use the Pulse Suppressor Box between the OTDR and the fiber to measure these crucial loss values.

FTB-9100 Optical Switch 

The FTB-9100 Optical Switch module provides repeatable fiber-to-fiber switching between one common port and 12 input/output ports, helping you increase your measurement power and making it an ideal choice for multifiber testing.

An MTP switch enables direct ribbon connection to a test set while MTP patchcords accelerate handling and setup time. The MTP switch can be used either for ribbon testing or for batch-fiber testing from a patch panel.
